How to Use IndieVolume

In this lab, you will learn the basics of using IndieVolume...

1. Launch IndieVolume - an icon will appear in the system tray area

   

2. Double-click on the IndieVolume icon in the system tray - the IndieVolume Control Panel window will appear...

   

3. You can select two or more applications - IndieVolume Control Panel window will be expanded to reflect the selected application sound settings.

   

4. You can click the button to test how the application will sound concurrently, in other words - will the application sound silently/noisily in front of other applications

5. Click on the button - a window will appear allowing you to enable IndieVolume for more applications. You can select multiple applications, or you can browse for non-running application for "in advance" audio set-up

   

6. Right-click on the IndieVolume tray icon, select Exit

   

7. Now, when IndieVolume is not running, applications sound as they were before.
